"Fly Me to the Moon ", ban đầu có tựa đề là " In Other Words ", là một bài hát được sáng tác vào năm 1954 bởi Bart Howard. Bản thu âm đầu tiên của bài hát được thực hiện vào năm 1954 bởi Kaye Ballart. Phiên bản năm 1964 của Frank Sinatra nổi tiếng và được Nasa sử dụng làm nhạc truyền thống chào phi thuyền Apollo lên mặt trăng.
Ban đầu bài phát hành , tác giả được yêu cầu sửa lời " Fly me..." thành " Take me..". B.H. nhất quyết không sửa vì ông cho là từ fly rất " đắt"
Tôi nghe khá nhiều versions , xưa nay , nam nữ, jazz, ballad.... nhưng thích nữ hát hơn nam nên tôi chọn Olivia Ong để viết lời. Nếu bạn nghe Frank Sinatra sẽ không khớp lời soạn này. Do ông hát phăng quá 😀. Tựa bài cũng là câu đầu tiên ở bài gốc hát rất phiêu. Tuy nhiên chuyển sang tiếng việt tôi đã tham khảo trên net thấy nhiều tác giả dịch sát nghĩa " Phóng tôi lên mặt trăng ". Khi mới bắt đầu khai phá sở thích này, tôi luôn khao khát viết bay như thơ. Nếu không được thì bỏ lời gốc viết lời mới nhưng luôn phải có chất thơ. Hiện tại viết để vui nhưng dường như tôi cũng không tìm được cách viết mới nên vẫn nương theo lời gốc là chính. Suy nghĩ tựa bài quá khó nên tôi lấy tựa cũ "In other words" thoát ý một chút thành "Lời hằng muốn ngỏ "
Đọc lời gốc thì hook của nó rõ ràng là " In other words" -> lặp đi lặp lại.
Đương sự muốn bay lên cung trăng chạm vào sao mộc sao thổ ...vân vân mây mây để lời hát lấp đầy trái tim nhưng nói đi nói lại chẳng qua là muốn nói YÊU thôi.
Bài hát được Sammi Smith cover lại vào năm 1970 trong album Help Me Make It Through the Night . Bài đã được nhiều nghệ sĩ khác cover lại kể từ đó, từ Tammy Wynette và Johnny Cash đến Elvis Presley và Joan Baez.

Vừa rồi nghe lại The Beegees trên youtube tự dưng nó nhảy lên bản này. Hình như mình chưa nghe lần nào. Tìm hiểu thêm được biết nó trong album Still Waters phát hành năm 1997. Theo nhiều ý kiến các khán giả comments trên youtube thì album này họ đánh giá là album hay nhất của Beegees.
Tôi nghe bản này lại nhiều lần , thích melody hơn Alone và You win again. Ôi nghe nhịp trống mà cứ ước giá như biết đánh trống tập theo liền. Nghe nhịp mà hồn vía tôi cứ lắc lư theo 😁. Anh em họ hát bè quá xuất sắc. Như hòa với nhau thành một khối. Đúng là cây đa cây đề. Đã gần 60 năm , nghe nhạc của họ vẫn luôn đi từ ngạc nhiên này đến ngạc nhiên khác. Yêu quý The Beegees biết bao ♥️
Viết bài này khi vừa xem xong bộ phim Người Yêu Dấu ( My Dearest ) của Hàn Quốc
Khi chưa search thông tin tôi cứ thấy phim xây dựng đôi nhân vật giống phim mỹ Cuốn Theo Chiều Gió ( Gone with the wind). Hôm nay rãnh tìm thông tin wikipedia thì đúng là Hàn họ remake lại. 😍.
Lý thú ở chổ lời bài hát có nhiều câu làm tôi cứ liên tưởng đến bộ phim trên. " I will walk through fire ". Chàng trai bao lần đưa lưng hứng tên bay đạn lạc để cứu nàng. Thương tích đầy mình. Hai người cá tính rất dữ dội . Mối tình của họ như là cuộc đấu lý cuối cùng con tim phải đầu hàng thôi. Phim Hàn họ remake lại thành phim cổ trang. Coi thực sự cuốn hút. Diễn viên đóng quá hay. Ost cũng hay. Lúc đầu tính viết lời ost của phim tên Painted on the Moonlight
Tự nhiên nghe bản I surrender hôm đó cái mình ráp ý mình luôn. Nói chung cái vụ viết này của mình đúng là " tùy duyên" 😀
